A thought we are sure that an industrial product, ecologically friendly is to be so constructed that it is easily recyclable?
My thoughts on eco-design
A thought.....
A thought, we are sure that an industrial product, ecologically friendly is to be so constructed that it is easily recyclable?I think not. I think if you start to design something, and you start thinking about the future of recycling, we are starting with a foot wrong, and as if he gave a sort of deadline, the right to be carried out so-so, not in accordance with best , so the recycled .......
I believe that the real ecological design is one that studies a good product, made to last (much), that can grow and perhaps even improve over time.
Are frankly fed up of disposable culture, I prefer to use and keep.
Something is moving in this direction, see for example the children of Brikolor offering furniture made to last 300 years, good at least we try, they translate page:
Brikolör designs and produces furniture in Gothenburg in Sweden. We have the ambition to manufacture furniture with a warranty and emotive technique that can last 300 years.
Another company Howies, Welsh company offers clothing and bags, made to last, and their philosophy states: These products are made to last. So that one day may be transmitted to someone else. And they can continue their journeys.
We live in times of limited resources but unlimited desire to consume. The real answer is simple: You eat less as a consumer, to make a better product, as a producer.
In future we should take more responsibility for our consumption. The producer and the consumer have a duty to share that responsibility.
We live in interesting times. From the perspective of the producer, the product lasts longer, uses less resources. The main ingredients for this are the quality and good design.
To do something well, the best you can do, like working more. Every point, every zip, every little element predsa be considered.
Then, and only then, can we say that we fully understood the responsibility to do something.
This product is guaranteed for a minimum of 10 years from the date of original purchase. The chances are that will last longer than that.

However such an approach, I am convinced that the long term pay, and the stupid race of our industrial production in China and similar places, are doing tremendous damage to the product made in Italy, perhaps in an apparent first phase gave some respite for businesses, but the consequences are coming with a slow sputtanamento image of Italian products, two attack buttons, a label and a miracle! is made in Italy.
To give some personal examples, from my grandfather, I had some things I still use: furniture, perfect after 80 years, a Zeiss telescope that operates by God, and a hunting jacket in boiled wool bought in London the year that I was born ( 1955), is still beautiful and functional.
Certainly one can not apply this philosophy to all products with high technological content are updated, but for many things.
