Use a Stability Ball

I use a stability ball when I am working at my computer. It is better to roll and bounce around on a ball than to sit still in a chair all day. I know you have to use more calories when you are moving around. I also found the stability ball helps my midsection, where I need it the most. It is easy to use while working. There are also a variety of exercises you can do with a stability ball. I also like to bounce on it while I watch TV. Make sure you buy the right stability ball for your height. This is a great fitness tool and can be found at discount stores. You can use an exercise ball for a variety of exercises. Try to find one with a pump. Just don't fall off and get hurt!

Stair Workouts

Use your stairs. You can set goals by walking up and down your stairs a certain amount of times per day. Try adding one more lap up the stairs extra a day. Walking up and down stairs is great exercise and burns a lot of calories.

Support Your Back When Doing Sit Ups

Roll up a towel. Place a rolled up towel behind your back when you are doing sit-ups. This will help support your back. There is nothing worse than trying to do sit ups without support! It is uncomfortable and you are less likely to do it. Try adding a extra rep every other day!

Use a Basketball

You can swing the ball from side to side without moving your legs and hips to help make your stomach muscles stronger. You can do this while watching TV. Pretty soon you will have stronger abs!

Go For a Walk

Find a friend or relative and plan a weekly walking schedule. Walking is a great way to burn calories and get rid of belly fat. I have also used and highly recommend the Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds workout videos, they are fun and they work! You do not need a lot of space in your home for these videos. You walk in place. Start out with a mile, then work up to two miles, then three miles, etc.
