Hull, Massachusetts is located on a peninsula just southeast of Boston. While the town is only about 10 miles from the city of Boston by sea, by road, it would take nearly an hour to reach the city by road. Hull has a storied past with the ocean, from Fort Revere's defense of America's shoreline during the American Revolution and World War II, to the building and dismantling of Nantasket Beach's Paragon Park. Most of Hull is made up of hills, connected by sand bars that are protected by sea walls. To the south of Hull lies Weir River Estuary, which serves as a boundary between Cohasset, Hingham and Hull.

How gorgeous! We might be making our way to Boston in August -- we'll definitely need to stop in Hull and take in the sights. Thanks for the great lens!

It's funny as I've read your page list and noticed that a lot of MA cities have the same name than those in England. This would make me see Massachusetts less strange than it should be to the European that I am :)
  • LKW31 May 26, 2010 @ 4:31 pm | delete
I came across your lens on lensroll.com and it caught my eye because I live in the Uk where there is also a place called Hull. The British Hull is probably the worst city I have ever been too, really really horrible. But your Hull looks lovely and interesting too! This is a very nice lens, you present information in a great clear way.
