I've always wanted to drive one of the original Carroll Shelby Mustangs from the '60s, mainly because they're some of the coolest looking cars ever made. I feel a bit guilty now because I drive a Volvo at a time when every fan of American cars, and every patriotic American really, should be buying Detroit steel. Until recently I could at least rationalize that Volvo was owned by Ford. I live in Japan, and I think very few Americans realize that while Japanese car manufacturers have captured about half of the American market, all foreign car sales in Japan account for just 5% of the Japanese market.
By the way, if you like chili, I have a lens with a good recipe using Carroll Shelby's chili mix at Great Chili: Texas Style
