Ranked #17,450 in Business & Work, #347,138 overall

What are 0844 & 0843 numbers about?

0844 numbers - Are phone numbers for your home or business - based in the UK

Phone numbers with the 0844 prefix also compare with 0843 numbers, the trade still refer to them as 0844 numbers, hence the lens title.

Used in the UK these are phone numbers that are generic - you don't know where they are - so you can be anywhere.

How much do these numbers cost?

We give you two 0843 numbers for free

I will let you know how to get your numbers for free - later. As long as you have an email you can claim two numbers and use them straight away, for FREE.

Why would you need an 084 number?

Do you work at home or Away?

Do you work from home ?

You can use the number to protect your private home number - using a free redirect.

If you are on the move and want to give the impression to your customers that you have a landline number & office - this is how you can do it - for free.

You can use a free control panel online to control where you divert the number - you get up to 6 divert options - that's 6 different phone numbers where you can divert the number to. Home, office or even to a mobile.

Diverting to a mobile there is a small charge to do this, So diverting to landlines is the cheapest option - because it's Free

If you move offices regularly because you rent or maybe you are an up and coming company and want to work on a tight budget - this is the way to go

What happens to the caller?

The caller experience

Free 0844 numbers

When the caller call's your 0843 number,

They are told their call is held in a queue

You can choose on hold music - jazz, pop, classic etc. all free.

(the music licence is covered by the phone number service provider)

Free Features

The Virtual Switchboard

virtual answer machine

Answer machine

You get the option to set up a virtual answer machine

Missed call alert

You get a free text message service which lets you know you had a missed call - plus the number that called you is displayed in the text - so you can call it back, it will not display caller with-held numbers though.

Opening & Closing times

You can set up the times you accept calls, allows you to switch off during your rest days and out of hours. It has an Automatic Bank Holiday setting - closes down the call divert without you having to do a thing.

Call Whisper - very clever

So the phone rings and you are at home - how do you answer the call?? Or maybe your partner picks up the phone and does not know what to do - how to answer etc.

No Problem - you set up a personal call whisper allocated to the 0843 number - when the call comes through it announces which number is calling - i.e. website 1 is calling press * to accept this call.

If you don't want to accept the call - just put the phone down and it diverts to the next number - if it is the last number in the queue then it goes to answer machine - all very clever.

.

Google Analytics

Work out which number works best for you

You can integrate google analytics with your free switchboard and monitor the traffic related to your 084 numbers -

Why would want to use this -

Say you did an advertising campaign and used different forms of media, web & print, you can allocate different numbers to different adds and monitor their performance.

New forms of advertising are now using this form of tracking - Newspapers are starting to charge for cost per call - this helps reduce the cost of the advert in print and you only pay for the response to the add - almost like cost per click with google adds, instead it is called "cost per call"

What is the catch?

There isn't one, as long as you use it.

I use an 0843 number for my online business today - all will become clear - I will show you soon.

If you get a number for free and don't use it - you lose it if the number has not been called for I think 60 days - that's easy to get around - Right.

How do i get around not losing a number - well I just call it once inside the 60 days - make sure the call is answered though.

Who pays?

The caller pays

The caller pays - in the cost per minute - it is charged at approx 5p per minute - the service provider gets 2p per minute to cover the technology and all that good stuff.

I make money from this too - as an affiliate reseller - I make 0.6 pence per minute on every call for however long the 0843 number is in use.

You can make money too - if you want a piece of the cake.

make money with free 0844 numbers

My friend Grant runs the 084 switchboard company - they provide you with a ready built affiliate site if you want one - I think I paid around £195.00 + Tax for the site and set up fee.

They have a fee because there are alot of dream boats out there - that think they can do this and want it for nothing & end up not being able to promote their sites up the search engines, the result would be tons of duplicate content being left out there on the web because the dream boats did not know what they were doing.

My advise is do not do google adds - its a waste of money, do it organically and make your content unique.

I have page one position's for my affiliate site on google.co.uk

my site is - "http://www.0844-freenumbers.co.uk"

To prove its' my website - I have put the word "Squidoo2" in at the bottom next to the affiliate link.

Can it be done? - Sure it can

I have worked on the seo for around one year and have page one positions on google organic for "free 0843 numbers" "free 0844 numbers" and just sneaked on page one for "0843 numbers" "0844 numbers"

To become an affiliate click here to get the form

If you decide to become an affiliate - best of luck - there are plenty of customers out there for all of us.
