3 Tips for Using Pepper Spray:
1. Spray in a figure 8 pattern as you are backing up. (This will help keep you from accidentally getting the pepper spray on yourself and it will draw the attacker into the spray.)
2. Keep your eyes open and watch your target when you discharge the pepper spray. Your attacker could dodge your aim and you will need to see where he is to adjust your aim.
3. Obviously there are times when you are unable to shoot the pepper spray in a textbook fashion. You may not have time to do anything but bring the spray up and start shooting. If that's the case, don't worry about aiming correctly, or even correcting aim. JUST SHOOT!
