My choices for 10 best comedy movies

1) Superbad - I only saw this movie recently after watching Seth Rogen in Pineapple Express, but thought it was hilarious especailly the two cops and John Hills character Seth.

2) Hot Fuzz - Featuring the same two English actors from Shaun Of Dead, I thought this movie was equally as funny as Shaun Of The Dead, particularly the last 20 minutes or so.

3) The Simpsons Movie - Wasn't sure how good this was going to be after 20 odd years of the Simpsons, but thought the movie was just as funny as the show - you can never get enough of Homer...

4) Shoot Em Up - A hilirious action/comedy featuring Clive Owen as an offbeat hero saving a baby from a bunch of mobsters.

5) Death At A Funeral - A typical English Comedy where everything goes wrong, with plenty of funny and cringe worthy moments.

6) Knocked Up - Another great comedy movie of 2007, and thought the circus scene with Seth Rogen freaking out was the best part of the movie.

7) Blades Of Glory - Featuring Will Farrel and Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite) this movie had some funny scenes; with Farrel and Heder learning how to ice skate as partners.

8) Juno - A bit of a drama/comedy, I thought the sarcastic character of Juno was entertaining to watch.

9) Walk Hard:The Dewey Cox Story - A spoof comedy taking a poke at blockbuster movies Walk The Line and Ray. I thought some of the songs made in this movie were cleverly done.

10) Shrek 3 - Probably the best animated series I've seen, this movie again features Shrek, Donkey, Fiona, Puss In Boots and a few new characters.

My choices for 10 best comedy movies

1) Pineapple Express - Some hilarious scenes throughout the movie, with one of the funniest final 30 minutes I've seen in a comedy.

2) Tropic Thunder - Another great comedy movie for 2008, I thought Robert Downey Juniors character stole the the movie, with other funny parts performed by Ben Stiller and Tom Cruise.

3) Trailer Park Boys: The Movie - I've never seen the show, but thought this movie was far better than I expected it to be; with the character of Ricky providing the most laughs.

4) You Don't Mess With The Zohan - I thought the first half to be the funniest, however there are plenty of good laughs throughout the movie.

5) War Inc - This one is a kind of a political dark action/comedy, with some funny performances from John and Joan Cusack and Ben Kingsley.

6) In Bruges - A dark comedy worth watching for the performances from Colin Farrell and especially Ralph Fiennes who comes into the movie during the final half.

7) Forgetting Sarah Marshall - A funnier movie than I thought it would be, with the character of Peter being an overly dramatic and emotional wreck after being dumped by his celebrity girlfriend.

8) Semi-Pro - A great movie for Will Farrell fans as Farrell plays his usual self and provides some good entertainment.

9) Step Brothers - Not as funny as I thought it would be but still a watchable movie, with Will Farrell and his friend John C. Reilly playing step brothers.

10) Big Stan - The jokes in this movie were fairly predictable, but its still good for some easy entertainment.

1) Ace Ventura Pet Detective - The movie launched Jim Carrey to fame, in my opinion Ace is the most original and funniest character I've seen in a comedy movie.

2) Zoolander - The whole story line to this movie is hilariously done, I thought Ben Stiller and Will Farrell provided the most laughs.

3) Royal Tanenbaums - A dark comedy, this movie won't have you in stitches but does have some funny and clever scenes and just an all round great movie.

4) Me, Myself And Irene - Another great Jim Carrey movie with the character of Hank making the movie well worth watching.

5) Pineapple Express - I think Seth Rogen it the best comedy actor to come out in recent years, and proves how funny he can be this movie. With other great and equally funny characters in Saul and Red.

6) Austin Powers International Man Of Mystery - I thought the character of Dr Evil was the best part of the movie; but this film had plenty of other great characters including Austin Powers himself.

7) Happy Gilmore - Adam Saddler has done plenty of good comedies, however I think this was by far his best.

8) Life Of Brian - The Monty Python team always put together some really clever and offensive work, but in my opinion this one was their best.
