25 Celebrities I Bet You Didn't Know Were Still Alive!

Ranked #2,851 in Entertainment, #35,161 overall

25 Famous TV and Movie Stars Who are Still Here :-)

Let's be honest-- there are some celebrities that for whatever reason everyone keeps thinking has died. Maybe it's because their careers fizzled out a long time ago or they've retired from the spotlight for so long that people barely remember them. Maybe it's because so many of their peers have died. Maybe it's because they've lived long past the age when the average person does, in fact, die. But for whatever reason, the rumors of their deaths-- in the words of the great Mark Twain-- have been "greatly exaggerated."

Well, let's put an end to all the rumors and speculation, shall we? Below I've pulled together a list of celebrities who many people constantly confuse for being dead when in fact they're still alive and kicking. I bet you'll be surprised by who's on the list. I know I was!

Many Queens of Comedy have left us over the years, but the cackling diva who carved a niche for herself with her signature cigarette holder, crazy wigs, and outrageous costumes is still making people laugh well into her '90s. Here she is looking as great as ever discussing in a recent interview how she created "Fang", who was the subject of much of her act: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pM85tGzCmdI.

Great information. I really didn't know icons like Lauren Bacall were still alive. Thanks for sharing such great info. Don't you think you have missed out Kirk Douglas, he just turned 95 on Dec 9. Probably the oldest of them.
