Money saving jars with a difference...

Whether it's done to save up for something special, or to act as a rainy-day fund, for many people, saving money is often seen to be a boring, mundane task. So why not put some fun into the mix and amuse yourself while you squirrel away your loose change?

We've compiled a list of our favourite money saving jars, whether it's because they are odd, unique, hilarious or all of the above.

Before we begin, some disclaimers: Not only are some of the below money saving jars a little on the naughty side, please be advised that many of them are one-of-a-kind and/or sold out, so apologies if we show you and link to something you'd really like but cannot have!

1. A piggy bank (without the "piggy")

Make a withdrawal from a "cash machine" in your own home! This money saving jar is just like the real thing, except... slightly smaller. And battery powered. But it can hold notes as well as coins, plus a withdrawal card and 4-digit code are required to make a withdrawal of the precious money inside. [Source]

10. Give your clientele a scare!

Our personal favourite, you can give your customers a right old scare with this particular money saving jar, or keep it at the back of the shop to give the employees a chuckle or two.
