Movie and TV Box Sets all men should own

In no particular order and this being just my opinion, these are are 10 DVD Box Sets I think all men (or women if they like) should have on their DVD shelf.
I know there are many many more box sets, but I opted for ten or this list would go forever.
These just happen to be the box sets that I enjoy and tend to watch over again.
If your favorite box set is not here, then why not add it to the list below?

Band of Brothers

Made by the same team as Saving Private Ryan, this is THE war TV series to own. If you don't have it or have not seen it, why not??
The series follows Easy Company, 506th Battalion, 101st Airborne, from training under their sadistic Captain, to D-Day, right through World War II to when they took the Eagles Nest, and the war's end.
From the start you connect with the characters, helped along by interviews by the ACTUAL soldiers being portrayed themselves.
You get a sense of what they went through and how they felt. You get attached to characters, only to lose some later on down the track. It's full of action, a bit of humor and at times heart wrenching. A must see for anyone!!

Die Hard

All 4 Die Hard movies!! All action packed with guns and humor. How can you not enjoy John McCLane getting all beaten to crap, but still coming out on top?
Loading

Lord of the Rings

I have tried and tried to read the books, but just can't seem to manage it. This is the next best thing. Peter Jackson has done an AMAZING job of bringing Middle Earth and it's inhabitants to life. great story line, characters you can relate to, and awesome battle scenes. Orcs, demons, hobbits, dwarfs, wizards, and Liv Tyler as an elf. What more could you want?

Bad Boys

Maybe not everyone's choice, but me and the family love these two movies. The cool Will Smith against the not so cool Martin Lawrence. A great combination. The action comes thick and fast, and so do the laughs.

Star Wars (all 6 movies)

I get that some people were not to keen on Episodes 1-3 but if you are gonna get a Star Wars box set, you may as well have the whole lot. Myself, I love all six movies. I grew up on Star Wars, and have always loved it. I could watch all the movies, over and over. I think they have done a great job in getting Episodes 1-3 to run into Episodes 4-6

Two and a Half Men

Every man would LOVE to be Charlie! Follow Charlie, his divorced brother Alan, and his nephew Jake, in their hilarious every day lives, as Charlie struggles to adjust from living by himself and enjoying an active social life, to hosting Alan and son Jake in his beach front home.
Series 8 has not been incorporated into a box set at the time of writing, so just series 1-7 for now.

Lethal Weapon

Cops and Criminals. With lots of action, quite a bit of humor, and a small bit of romance. But don't let the romance bit put you off, cos it is only a tiny bit.
Join Riggs and Murtough as they chase down an untold number of Bad Guys. From drug smugglers to crooked ex-cops.

Fast and Furious

Big shiny powerful hotted up street cars. Enough said....Did I mention the big powerful hotted up street cars?
Loading

NCIS

I know I said this list was for men, but if I didn't include this my wife would kill me LOL
We have Gibbs and his team, tracking down terrorists, murderers and even the odd serial killer in Washington DC.
I've only gone with season one here, as the seasons are still coming so no definitive box set as yet

Indiana Jones

Follow the Archeology Professor Indy as he travels the world collecting ancient artifacts. How boring would that be if he wasn't getting into scrapes, fights and nicking stuff off Nazis. A definite must see for any action movie fan
