To be honest some movies are better on DVD. I have The Wizard of Oz on blu-ray and even though the picture is crisper I didn't like the fact that they didn't stretch it to 16:9 like they did on the DVD version. I also have Ghostbusters on blu-ray and the picture is awful in places, the reviews gave it 8 out of 10 for picture I wouldn't give it 2 out of 10

I love your use of big images, it makes your lens easy to read.

Yes and I love it! Once you go Blu-ray you'll never go back. (: Thank you for the recommendations, I loved Coraline, Slumdog & Star Trek so I'll definitely check out the Blu-ray editions . Well-presented selections and nicely crafted lens. *blessed*

I know the Star Trek movie (actually, the whole movie series!) will be some of the first when my hubby breaks down and gets a blu-ray. He's held out for a while but a die-hard techie like him can't resist new technology for too long!

From this list I'd have to say that Gone With The Wind is my favorite. I like the older classic movies better than most new ones.

It's a very interesting top 10 movie list, from creepy to classic to kids. I do love reading your reviews!

I have not purchased a blu-ray yet, but I sure am thinking seriously about it. Amazing to me to see Wizard of Oz and Gone with the Wind still on the top 10 of any list! Some movies are just classics, I guess, for all generations!
