Get the kids out from under your feet for a bit!It doesn't matter how loud or messy they are out there in the log cabin and they might even get away with not tidying up their toys that often.

Everyone can always use some extra storage space so its no surprise this is the most common reason given for buying a log cabin.Log cabins are great to use for all sorts of storage.
If you have garden furniture that needs to be inside over the winter, tools and bikes you know they will be safe and dry inside a log cabin. Top quality roofing shingles ensure a waterproof roof and and doors and windows with proper locks and catches mean that security is good.

I think most people would love to have their own bar at home!A log cabin is a perfect space for filling with a pool table, darts board, games console, widescreen TV, music system and everything else you need to create a bar area. You can even get the bar itself made out of the same interlock logs as the rest of the log cabin.
Keep it a family members only exclusive club or invite friends and neighbours round to enjoy with you.

I would love to be able to come home at the end of a long day at work, go out down to my log cabin and jump in the hot tub for a bit then relax in the sauna.

This has got number 1 spot because its interesting (I wouldn't have thought about a log cabin on a golf course before) but also pretty exciting.In the winter you can get off the cold, windy golf course for a hot brew and a big bacon buttie.
In the summer you can take a quick break for an ice cold beer.

- I think this would be a great idea for storage or for a summer house / place to write. Unfortunately we don't have the space, but if we had a lovely big country garden it would be high on the list. Love the idea of the halfway house on the golf course - for getting out of the cold in the winter, and out of the rain in the summer! Nicely done.

- Thats a great idea, you could definately put a mat down to practice on or if you were more adventurous i bet you could even 'landscape' an area with a bit of a crown or something

- I think a log cabin would make a great place to write. Wasn't it Roald Dahl the best selling children's author who did all his writing in a cabin in his garden?
