Mamiya M645 Medium Format Analog SLR

The Mamiya M645, with interchangeable finder and screen, but only with only preloadable film inserts, is the first series of Medium Format (6cm x 4.5cm) SLRs made by Mamiya, first launched in 1975.

All the M645 models share the same accessories (finders, screens, lenses, grips and inserts). The lenses and inserts can also be attached on the later Mamiya 645 models. The first model has knob advance and shutter speeds from 8s to 1/500, mirror lockup, doouble exposure lever and flash sync at 1/60 sec. The M645 1000S (1976) adds the 1/1000 top speed, selftimer, and a depth of field preview button. The M645 J (1979) is like the original model with shutter speeds from 1s to 1/500 but with the mirror lockup feature removed, and lacks the upper shutter-release button of the other M645 models. Later models included the 645 Super, 645 Pro, 645 Pro-TL and 645E before debutting the 645AF series.
