An Attitude of Gratitude

I'm a retired librarian, so I like to catalog and list things. This started out to be a list of 100 things I'm grateful for.

It's almost Thanksgiving, so that holiday inspired me to start this lens. I saw a similar lens and it just looked like a fun thing to do. Obviously it won't be finished in just a few days. I'll keep adding to it until I reach 100. Well, I stopped at 25, so I changed the title to reflect that. It wasn't that I don't have more things to be grateful for, I just had lots of other projects to work on. Maybe I'll resume the list making as the holiday season approaches.

I'm glad I started blogging. It gives me an outlet for all the odds and ends that run through my head. It lets my family and friends find out what I've been up to lately.

I'm Glad That I'm Overcoming My Fear of Driving

I used a self-hypnosis CD and listened to it a number of times before our last big trip. It helped me feel more comfortable in heavy freeway traffic and crossing large bridges. These were two areas that seemed to bother me the most before. (It's available from Amazon)

I Love Rereading Old Favorites

Here's one author that I've kept all her books

Elsie Lee wrote romantic suspense back in the 1960s and 70s. I still enjoy getting out Dark Moon, Lost Lady or other titles of hers to read for the umpteenth time. It's like comfort food.

I was just thinking the other day how thankful I am for so many things. As I was visiting Squidoo lensmasters I saw your article. It really brought back to me the little things is what makes us who we are. If nothing else we should be thankful for that.
