The Hundredth Day of School is the ultimate celebration of Skip Counting. By mid-February the children will be skip counting to 100 by most of the numbers. Here are some wonderful activities to celebrate this accomplishment.
Children love to make posters of 100 things. The poster above is of 100 chicken and a worm. If you laminate it you can use a dry erase marker to circle groups of chickens and then skip count to 100.

Schools usually count only the days in school. Homeschoolers often count all the days and every day is a day of learning for homeschoolers. Because of this, the 100th day of school may fall in mid-February for school children but could be celebrated any time of the year for homeschoolers.
