100th Birthday

Now this is the very first milestone to reach.

This is one of the really cute ages when the receiver of the card has no idea what a birthday card is but we make them extra special so the the parents can enjoy the card.

Now the 16th birthday is considered a milestone as in some countries you are now legally allowed to do things you couldn't before.

I think it is the inbetween age where they like to think that they are now an adult but they still want to act like a child. It is also of course known as sweet sixteen.

Now the 18th birthday is a real milestone.

It is that time of your life when you are considered no longer a child. It is when you will always be referred to as an adult. It is the age when you start taking responsibility for your own actions.

The key of door. The traditional coming of age hence getting the key to the door.

This milestone is known as the key of the door in some countries.

It is believed that you stop growing when you are 21 years old why in particular it is 21 I do not know. This is the age when you start to receive the humorous cards because people start to make fun of your age. Get used to it because there will be a lot more of those to come the older you get.

The 30th birthday milestone.

Is this the age where you start to lie about how old you really are?

Now this is the milestone where your life is supposed to begin.

Does this mean that when we reach the age of 40 we are glad we made it this far and so we should now start living our life.

The saying "Life Begins At Forty" is believed to have originated in the 1930's from a title of a book by W B Pitking "Life Begins At Forty" it was also a title of a song in the 1930's.

Now this is a true milestone.

When you reach your 50th birthday you're half way to that magical century or 100th birthday. It is the time of your life when hopefully most of your kids have grown up and are a bit more independent of you.

Half way between 50 and 60.

At this milestone you should be enjoying retirement.

It is the time when maybe there are grandchildren around so you get a new lease of life looking after these only this time instead of keeping them you can give them back. Enjoy them while they are around but give them back at the end of the day.
