F*** My Life

If you're having a sucky day, take a read at others in equally depressing predicaments...it'll cheer you up!

Some of my favorites:

  • Today, my husband dropped me off at work. Ten minutes later I got a text saying "I just dropped the b*tch off I'll be there in a few baby, miss you". I asked him about it he said "I don't know what you're talking about Megan". My name isn't Megan. Not even close. FML

  • Today, I saw an elderly man fall in a crosswalk, so I jumped off my bike to help. As I helped him across, the light turned green. I then watched across a 6 lane street as someone stole my bike. FML

  • Today, I forgot to do my French homework, but since it was an online worksheet, I told my teacher my internet wasn't working. I told her with an e-mail. FML
  • The Chive

Their tagline is 'Probably the best site in the world.' You be the judge...

    Awesome sand sculpture

    Jaw Drops

From the website: "Ever have one of those moments where you witness something that is just so unbelievable that your mouth falls open in disbelief? Well that's Jaw Drops. Where you can find awe-inspiring content that ranges from the hilarious, the shocking, to the downright unbelievable. Think America's Got Talent meets Ripley's Belief It Or Not."

    Mighty Goods

This blog reviews a single interesting item each day and shows you where to buy it.

The owner has now expanded her dominion to include Mighty Junior which profiles items for the under-18 crowd and Mighty Haus where you can find interesting household items.

    No Bad News

Looking for news that isn't BAD for a change? This site offers the lighter side of day-to-day happenings.

    Some interesting headlines:

  • Monster Star Is Master Of The Universe
  • Psychic octopus retires from fortune telling
  • Flying donkey stunt on Russian beach
  • Annual Californian Amtrak Mooning festival
  • Not Always Right

Wake Up And Sell The Coffee
COFFEE SHOP | TORONTO, ON, CANADA |
(Near the end of the morning rush, I'm making lattes, cappuccinos, etc.)

Me: "I don't feel so great." *faints*

(As I come to, I not only hear my manager on the phone with 911 but the following%u2026)

Customer: "Isn't anyone going to make my latte?"

Mommy Says All Men Are Evil
DAYCARE | BRIDGEPORT, CT, USA | CHILDREN
(A three-year-old boy is playing with some dolls at the day care center and separating them into families.)

Boy: "And this is the mommy, and this is the daughter, and this is the other mommy, and this is the son and the daughter, and this is the other mommy-"

Worker: "Where are all the daddies?"

      Boy: "They're in jail."

    Oddee

Like lists? Then you'll love Oddee! Time will float away as you read about weird tattoos, the 10 most bizarre people, or any of the other thousands of lists you'd never expect people to compile.

    Patently Silly

What WERE they thinking? These patents will never make the A-list of inventions.

From one of the owners: " I have no idea which of these patents will catch on and which ones will be remembered only by the afficianados of the trivial. Ben Franklin once said:

"One would not therefore, of all faculties, or qualities of the mind, wish for a friend, or a child, that he should have that of invention. For his attempts to benefit mankind in that way, however well imagined, if they do not succeed, expose him, though very unjustly, to general ridicule and contempt; and if they do succeed, to envy, robbery, and abuse."

It can take a long time for inventions to catch on. At first, each invention can undergo a long period of mockery. At Patently Silly, I try to be the first one to ridicule, so that this phase of the invention's life can end sooner. Then, hopefully it will grow up and change the world."

    People of Walmart

Let's face it. Walmart isn't exactly designed for the finer class. This blog portrays the finer aspects of Walmart, from people with their ends hanging out, to those guys looking to beautify themselves in the make-up aisle.

    Drag race

    That's my boss

Got a boss who's driving you crazy? Come here to vent as well as read other people's woes.

    From the site:
"I became a supervisor last year after my company rearranged resources. Since becoming a first level boss, I have been shocked at the brilliance of some of the people with whom I come into regular contact.

Some questions I have been asked:

After I sort my incoming email to different folders for storage, how do I access those files to find my emails?

How do I copy files onto a thumb drive? (From a long-term employee, a computer user the entire time.)

Who mails out these documents once they are created? (This was from a guy who files away said documents immediately in his desk drawer and does not give them to ANYone to mail, read or otherwise use.)

Will you please show this new employee how to look up the zip code of *target town* for me? (The new employee was familiar with Google and
immediately said she knew how to do it herself.)

Why does it make me sign in EVERY time I go into this program?

What is the difference between a vendor and a customer?"

    technabob

Technabob is a daily blog featuring the latest cool gadgets, video games, geeky gizmos and weird science.

"Technabob features new and unusual gadgets, gizmos, video ames and other tech toys from around the globe. We try to offer something a little different from all of the other tech news blogs out there, digging under rocks that aren't already uncovered, and always with a bit of wit and whimsy thrown in"

    That Loser

    Losers of the world, unite.

    The Awesomer

...is awesome! If you like weird, you'll like this site.

From the site: "The Awesomer is a daily blog filled with awesome stuff for guys*. Initially conceptualized as a technology shopping blog, it's now more or less a massive repository for whatever we find interesting. We're like that closet that you throw everything into, albeit a bit more organized, and minus the ratty tee you've worn since freshman year.

In short, The Awesomer samples a bit of everything - from gadgets to news, from clothing to video games. The more interesting/funky/goofy, the better."

    Notes From The Universe.

What if the Universe were to send you little reminders of your power, life's magic,

If I told you there have been no mistakes,
that I understand every decision you've ever made,
and that the challenges you've faced, you've faced
    for everyone, would you listen?

If I told you that what you dream of, I dream of for you,
that the only things "meant to be" are what you decide
upon, and that all that stands between you and the life
of your dreams are the thoughts you choose
to think, would you try to understand?

And if I told you that you are never alone,
that there are angels who sing your name in praise,
and that I couldn't possibly be any more proud of you
than I already am, would you believe me?

Would you? Even if I pulled your leg, made you blush,
    and winked between the lines?

    Then I shall...
