Whether you are a amateur or professional photographer, you should consider entering photo contests to see how your work compares to that of other photographers. The contests here range from small juried county fairs to massive international competitions. I will try to include most pertinent information. Category winners in the open section will compete for the overall title of /The Epson International Pano Awards Photographer of the Year 2010/. Category winners in the amateur section will compete for the overall title of /The Epson International Pano Awards Amateur Photographer of the Year 2010/.

The Open category is open to professional, non-professional and student photographers.
Entry fees are US$18 per image, or US$38 for 3 images entered at once (max total 6 images per entrant)

Anyone over the age of 18 interested in digital or film photography through the microscope is eligible, with the exception of employees of Nikon, their families, the contest judges, and individuals engaged in the manufacture or sale of microscopes or photographic equipment. Former first prizewinners are ineligible to win first prize in the three contests immediately following the contest they won, but can win other prizes. An image that has won any other competition is not eligible to win this contest.
