IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT MY LENSES STARTED IN FALL of 2008:
ALL OF THEM SHALL REMAIN UNDER CONSTRUCTION FOR THE NEXT FEW WEEKS!

Due to unexpected circumstances, (an illness and a death) I will be offline for the next few weeks. As a result, the construction of all of my lenses has been put on hold until I am able to return online again.

I hope to be back online by late January or early February. Sorry for the inconvenience, please check back again later.

#1.) The McDuck Money Bin

Why the McDuck Money Bin? Well, for one thing, I think it's just amazing that someone would build a piggy-bank that is 3 acres wide by 3 acres deep by 3 acres tall. Can you imagin how many coins you could put in a 3 acre piggy bank? In the 1980's a group of bankers got together to determin just exactly how many coins that would be, and the total they came up with was more coins than there were in the entire United States. That's a lot of coins!

However, though it'd be amazing to see that many coins in one place, it's not the coins that I'd want to see, but the Money Bin's mighty defence system: it's moat of crocodiles, around a moat of acid, the land mines on the front lawn, the cannons on the roof tops, and all the weird and wounderful gadgets added on by Gyro Gearloose. Just walking up to the front door would be a feat in it's own.

Could you imagin living in the world's largest piggy bank? Scrooge McDuck does, and that may be the best thing of all. I'd just love to meet Scrooge McDuck.
