10 Cuneo The Breakfast Bear and Friends

So many times, we were walking and really not paying attention.

More than once, my wife was walking and looking up at the trees. So intense, to make sure the bears were not over head, that she almost walked on a snake! I had to pick up a baby rattlesnake, with a long trash picker upper, so she would not step on it. I placed it off the roadway.

There was another time, a black snake with a red line around it, also came across her path!

Being Camp Host, things still surprise us. One day we were walking, down by the family campground sites, and about 20 yeards away, here come Cuneo The Breakfast Bear, running out of the berry bushes, right across our path, just a few yards away! We stood frozen and we did not even have a chance to grab the bear horn! He went so fast across the road, but what IF instead of running across our path, he had ran toward us?

Learn to Stop, Stand Still and Walk Back from where you came from.

Wasp, bees, flying about. Instead of swatting them, walk away. More than likely you are around their home! They feel YOU are a danger to them!

This campground has many different types of squirrels and it seems they all get along with each other. A thing we, as people should note!

The ones in the tree will drop chestnuts, walnuts and such on our/your trailer or tent. So will birds. The dropping of these things can make loud noises on your trailer, scaring you. And it HURTS if they hit you with them!

Many frogs, dragonflies, different kinds of ants and many more, make this their home. A careless step, can really bring tragedy to their family!
