Aerobic are good on weekends because it is time consuming you will have to run on the treadmill for 15 minutes or take a long walk if you want the most benefit of aerobic exercises try including aerobic exercises in your daily life routine such as walking home instead of the bus or walking in your break time at work, or what about cleaning the house these are good and simple types of aerobic exercises that can have more benefits more important less time consuming like using treadmills a good thing about aerobic exercising is that they are very good for the heart.
Weight training are not very advisable for teens because it may stunt your growth plates but it is proven that simple weights that you can curl more then six times is OK but make sure you stretch afterward, but if you are over 18 you can use weight training start with low weights first then start increasing slowly.
