10 Tips To Save Electricity

1- Put all your machines in economy mode or environmet friendly mode. Imagine if your frigo or microwave and all that stuff consuming less than half than the usual. This is even more significant in modern electrodomestics.

2- Never warm your house more than 17ºC. The higher the temperature, the more heat your house will lose.

3- Put your computer saving energy. You probably use your computer many hours a day. In your desktop click on the right button then go to "Properties". In the energy tab choose the options that will use less energy and put the PC inactive after less time not in use.

4- Swich all your lamps to economy lamps. It´s a big investment in the beginning but you will see the diference in the next month bill. Guaranteed.

5- Use your oven heat instead of central heating. While you are cooking a lot of heat is wasted. You can use that heat instead of central heating. Leave the oven open after cooking.

6- Replace your windows with double glass ones. Windows are the main place where the heat leaves your house. By replacing with better windows you can have a warmer home with less expenses.

7- If you own a business switch all your deskrop computers with laptops, they consume much less energy since they were designed to work with batteries and to last longer.

8- Consider installing an wind turbine in your house. They can be a bit expensive at first but if you live in a windy place like the top of a city, you can generate some mega watts per hour which is more than enough to have free electricity!!! If only you could sell it to your neighbors...!

9- Install a solar panel in your roof. Instead of the traditional brick roofs, make a solar powered home with a solar roof. If you live in a place where you can catch a lot of sun, you can even get fre eelectricity!

10- Finally if you live next to a river or a small amount of water passes nearby your home, make a turbine to generate electricity. You can get all the energy you want just with this, because the flood of water is always constant and you don´t the problem of the sun disappearing or raining, or he wind changing direction or stopping.
