11 Cuneo The Breakfast Bear and Friends

The campground group portion, would hold over a hundred people. Events, family reunions and parties were booked every weekend and some weekdays.
On one Sunday morning, when both group areas were booked, we heard a lot of commotion coming from the bigger group area.
I walked up to see if there was a problem. One guy came out of his tent, very upset. He told me he left his ice chest outside of this tent, last night. This morning the ice chest was gone!
A lady in chargred of one of the groups came over and said, "The Breakfast Bear" ate their breakfast! I said, "Come Again?"
They had put all their ice chests in the horse trailers, except the big one, that they had forgotten about.
That ice chest, had everyone's food in it, for a huge breakfast get together.
They found the ice chest torn up! Most of the food was gone. But for some reason, "The Breakfast Bear" left the uncut melons, and threw the bread all over their group campsite!
The campers all hung their heads, when I started to lecture them about storage of food. They said they all knew and understood the rules, just forgot the last big cooler.
It was dark and late when they were done at the campfire. The drinks were next to the campfire and they remember to put those away.
The other guy, that left his ice chest outside of his tent, gave no excuse.
Their punishment was "No Breakfast!" The closest place open on Sunday, was a good 50 or more miles away, and 8 of those miles, took a good 45 minutes or more. And That Is One Way!!
But they did not leave. They road their horses and just sucked up the hunger. They road their horses most of the day and about 4 pm or 5 pm they decided to call it a weekend and head home, with a story!
