Have been very fortunate to be able to stay home and make my family my career. It is what makes me extremely happy.
Love My Career of Being a Stay at Home Mom
- Being home means my husband can be more successful with his career and bring home the bacon. He concentrates on work and I concentrate on our family life.
- Being home when my kids get home from school. No latch key kids home alone with nothing to do but get into trouble or give into peer pressure.
- Home made dinners. Dinners are planned and not a fast food pick up on my way home from work. Easier to instill healthy eating habits for my kids.
- Time to dedicate to my kids education. I was able to home school both my boys during their elementary school years. Now I can volunteer and help in their classrooms.
- Can keep up with kids extra curricular activities. Mom's taxi is always available and in service.
- Domestic duties done by me and not hired out. I have the time to keep my house in order.
- Have best behaved dog, since he is with me all day he isn't home alone chewing or peeing on my furniture.
- Manage my own time and not have to punch a time card.
Stay at Home Mom - Payment in Hugs and Kisses
Being a stay at home mom is not for everyone. Hours are long and a lot of family sacrifices need to be made. For me, it's what I was made for.
