The Ultimate Numerology
I first became aware that people were attaching significance to the repetition of numbers in the human sphere around 8/8/8. There are those who say that the whole reason Beijing wanted an Olympics in 2008 was to garner the good fortune that the lucky number augurs.
After 8/8/8 there was 9/9/9 and 10/10/10. And finally 11-11-11

Since no year has 13 months we are at the end of the cycle for this century. The last date can be expressed as the repetition of three numbers is 12/12/12. If you think about how arbitrary counting systems and numbers are it is silly to attach cosmic signficance to them. Nonetheless, like most human beings, I get a fair amount of entertainment value out of silliness and a never ending excuse to party. New Guestbook Comments

I really started getting into creating artwork to commerate dates on 10 10 10. I was thinking I had one year to prepare for 11-11-11. In the beginning I thought a single 11 would do the trick.

I graduated to incorporating three elevens into the work. Most of what I did was suitablle for T-shirts, mouse mats and the like. I generate the designs using computer programs that I create. I think of the designs as fractal, digital and abtract computer art.
