12SecondCommute is causing a huge buzz - but is it real? Great tools AND a lot of money to be made?? Hmm .. let's see....

Is the 12SecondCommute all smoke, with little depth and no fire? Or are the tools good value and the affiliate residual commissions worth the work?


I'll try, as a user, to give you both the good and any bad I've found in the 12SecondCommute Tools and Income Opportunity Package, then it's up to you to decide.

(I'll outline quickly the main points here, and it you need you can drill down for more detailed information using  the links I will provide within this lens.)

12SecondCommute - A Brief History 

2TillProfit? What's those earnings got to do with the 12SecondCommute?????

Lemme explain that screenshot above.

Company History: The 12SecondCommute is the brainchild of Darryl Graham, and follows his successful development of 2tillProfit over five years ago. 2Till provided great tools but was never designed to be a massive income earner for his affiliates, just to cover their costs once they had introducing two other members (hence the name 2TillProfit), a job it achieved with ease.

Take a look now at the screenshot of my 2TillProfit earnings for 2009 above. $770, not hellish exciting are they? BUT, while I used the tools daily, I didn't promote it to new prospects in any of the two previous years because I've been flat out teaching people in my role as the StartBusinessMentor and working as a rather profitable affiliate in an area of long standing passion, personal development.

So..... this year till now, as a user but not a promoter of 2TillProfit, I spent $90 to use all its tools, and I made $770. Ker-ching (cash register closing noise). Thank you Darryl Graham and 2TillProfit

12SecondCommute - Who's it most suitable for? 

Anyone using the Internet to market any of the following businesses:

  • Online MLM, Affiliate or Niche Businesses - especially if they want to use professional tools that are good value for money and to develop ongoing monthly commissions by promoting them to others
  • Affiliate marketers sick of the 'one sale, one commission' model with it's ongoing costs to bring in new sales all the time.
  • MLM (Network Marketing) distributors wanting to escape the slavery of the doubtful 'Autoship' and other 'have too each month' requirements and transition into promoting high quality Internet tools that everyone MUST have to be successful.
  • Any web hosting etc business paying out less that $5 per member per month to it's members (ie GVO or GDI)

12SecondCommute - It's not much use for? 

  • Anyone unwilling to invest some time to learn how to use the tools properly - the learning curve, while gentle, does still exist to some extent. Happily the owner, and some others, provides live webinar training weekly and the internal training videos and other materials are very clear and easy to understand.
  • Anyone seduced by the 'do nothing, make gazillions a month by next week' crowd. 12SC has the potential to provide excellent ongoing income, allowing people to dump the job and 'work' from home (hence the name 12SecondCommute) but there is work involved and a good 'retirement' income could well take six months or more to achieve.

12SecondCommute - Can you make money with it? Does it include residuals? 

The Commission Structure:

A five tier, heavily front loaded, 60% total, commission structure which provides those members who choose to promote the 12SC suite an immediate reward for each new member who takes up an account, and long term residual incomes as all members monthly subscriptions fall due and they receive a further commission on those renewals.

Retention was high on the old 2TillProfit package and is expected to be even higher with the new 12SC because of the expanded and even higher quality tools suite, and the substantial improvements in the rewards coming back to the affiliates.

12SecondCommute - What's good about it? 

Not a lot. Just kidding!! (I couldn't resist that)

The 12SecondCommute includes all the tools every online marketers needs, all in one easy to use package, coupled with a substantial multi tier (not MLM) commission plan, providing substantial residual incomes.

I like the way you're not overwhelmed by complexity on arrival at 12SC and the way the tools are introduced in simple steps as you need them. You are able to get the very best out of the tools without having to tear your hair out in frustration as you learn how to deploy them. I think they call it the 'Keep It Simple, Stupid' principle

I'm also very impressed with the owner Darryl Graham. Over the nearly four years I've used his services he has always over-delivered - often to a surprising degree. In developing this new tools package and the powerful commission plan that goes with it he was very smart in soliciting the opinion of his super affiliates at every stage and the final package reflects this combined effort.

12SecondCommute - What's not so good about it? 

Not a lot. (and I'm not kidding this time) However ......

I'm not sure letting people join free for a month was the best way to go, and I wonder if it will attract a few 'tire kickers' who 'take all, do nothing'.

Fortunately, after a month everyone joining will have to elect an upgrade level starting at $9 a month, which will weed out the 'sleepers'. The services are clearly worth much more than $9 a month, even without the associated ability to earn substantial residual incomes, so maybe I'm just a bit hard nosed in thinking everyone should have been required to invest $9 from day one. Time will tell.

12SecondCommute - What does it cost? 

Elsewhere - up to $95 a month. 12SecondCommute - starting at $9 a month.

All the services and tools are available beginning at $9 a month. Choosing to upgrade to one of the other three levels simply gives you more of everything. ie larger capacity hosting, larger email lists, more capture pages etc. From my experience most new members will be very happy with what they get for $9 a month and it will only be when their businesses have grown quite large (and assumably quite profitable) will they see a need to upgrade to get more capacity.

I've done a price comparison with other suppliers of these tools - generally one tool per supplier - and found you would be paying up to $95 a month for the same things, and then you would have the the additional challenges of different interfaces, payments
etc etc

(I suggest you do the same thing. Why take my word for it? ie Aweber Autoresponder, Hostgator Web Hosting, HyperTracker Ad Tracking, Instant Squeeze Page Generator,say GoToMeeting Conferencing, Affilorama Affiliate Training, URL Rotator, etc etc)

12SecondCommute - As a user, what's my conclusions? 

As a user I'm very happy with the effectiveness of all the tools in the suite, and many members are reporting that the commission structure is producing regular and ongoing incomes for them.

However I haven't promoted it very much myself yet because I'm too busy coaching my students in my role as the StartBusinessMentor at the moment. Therefore I can't demonstrate the income from my own personal experience.

However I can say from feedback from several long term colleagues within 12SC that I have good reason to trust, that it is producing very substantial incomes for them and that the drop out rate for upgraded members is very low - which means the residual income potential is very real.

The bottom line for me is that it's VERY unusual to find a cost effective professional tools suite AND a very viable and long term residual income opportunity all in one package, backed by a successful five year old company, with good training and leadership, and the I'm confident the 12SecondCommute is all of that.

My recommendation is that you take up the one month free trial offer, give all the tools and the training as good thrashing and then decide for yourself whether you think enough of 12SC to make the move to upgrade to the level that best suites your situation. Frankly, I don't think you'll be disappointed with what you see

But whatever you decide, be aware, you WILL NEED all these tools if you really want to make it online, and you won't get them at a better price anywhere else. Don't overlook the value here because it's only $9 a month.

My second recommendation is to attend to live weekly training webinars, especially the one(s) done by the owner Darryl. Get to know the other members, their willingness to assist you, and their integrity, and let that form part of your decision.
