Number 12: The Very Worst Non Romantic Present For Valentine's Day
I once worked with a young man who really gave his wife a Thigh Master for Valentine's Day. He thought he was giving her a good present because she said she wanted one. I guess we need to use a little good judgment when giving practical Valentine's Day Gifts. Its a good thing he had a dog he could bunk with.

Editors Note 2/2012: When I first wrote about this I no longer worker with this "young man". I had moved away and figured I'd never see him again. A couple years later I've moved back and now working with this former "young man". I printed this out and put it on his desk. He thought it was so funny he put it up on the bulletin board (his wife couldn't beleive people still remembered this kind of stuff from 20 years ago)

- Wonderful gift ideas for Valentine's Day. As a bird watcher I would love the heron statue.To me, that would be a romantic gift because I would know that my husband was thinking of my interests.
The Thigh Master could seem like a real turnoff but when I think of how I could use it while Squidooing I would realize that my husband was just looking out for my health while validating the time I spend here on Squidoo.
