Being cheated on is probably one of the most painful experiences you could ever have to go through. The loss and heartbreak you feel can cause you to become unhealthy and make irrational decisions. Preparation for such an event can greatly reduce the effects of being cheated on. Use the following steps as a guideline:
1. Your partner suddenly becomes friendly with someone of the opposite sex. Often, this other person is going through some tragedy such as a divorce, or loss of a family member. Many times, this person is someone who participated in an activity with your partner that you are not involved in. When confronted about this new friendship, your partner will admonish you for "thinking such a thing".
2. You find that your partner starts to compare you to other people in your environment often comparing how you dress, how successful they are or some other trait where it appears you are lacking.
3. You notice that your partner starts talking about how someone seems to understand them more than you do. This is just so they can justify in their own minds their decision to befriend this other person.
4. Your partner goes out at night without you and never invites you.
5. Your partner suddenly has a new project at work that will keep them there later than normal. They seems very excited about this new project.
6. Your partner suddenly takes up a new course or activity to which they never invite you.
7. You start to catch your partner out in lies. Sometimes it's just little things, but often there's large discrepancies between what you know and what you are being told.
8. Your partner starts to overly criticize someone for apparently no reason. They are simply trying to enforce upon you thoughts that an affair could never occur and this is an attempt to get you to let down your guard.
9. You notice an obvious flirtatious interaction between your partner and someone of the opposite sex when you both are at a social event. Your partner will try to hide these gestures but you will catch them if you pay attention.
10. Your partner discusses intimate details about your relationship with someone else. Sharing personal details is often a precursor to sharing physical connections.
11. Your partner engages in physical contact with someone frequently. Innocent hugs can easily escalate into more torrid physical activities.
12. Your partner suddenly starts getting little gifts from someone.
13. Your partner makes excuses to make sure they can be away from you for extended periods of time.
14. You never seem to have access to your partners phone, and when you do, you see that the call history has been deleted or worse, the phone is password protected. Often, you'll see that your partner never leaves their phone unattended in case you might intercept a call or a text message.
15, You find that any internet browsing history on a computer used by your partner has been deleted, or worse the computer is locked with a password you don't know.
There are many signs of cheating, but the list above contains the most obvious signs that should raise "red flags" for you.
You should never confront your cheater based on the list above. To see why, please read this post: Atlanta Private Investigator
