1935 - Dennis Potter English writer best known for critically acclaimed BBC television The Singing Detective. It ranks 20th on the British Film Institute's list of the 100 Greatest British Television Programmes
1936 - Dennis Hopper American actor and director. He directed, co wrote and starred in Easy Rider (1969), winning an award at the Cannes Film Festival. The film was also nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay
1970 - Jordan Knight Amercan singer best known as a singer in the boy band, New Kids on the Block. The band sold over 80 million records worldwide. The band disbanded in 1994, reuniting in 2007 and recorded a new record
