    Oh yes, I have great memories of the fifties. Great lens--Thanks for giving me an opportunity to look back. The 59 Chevy was one of my favorite cars.

    I was nine years old and madly in love with a boy in my class. I think I ruined all my chances when I tried to look like Marylin Monroe.....=D
    Otherwise it was a very good year

    I had a choice to go to an older brothers wedding or go see the Shaggy Dog. I picked the Shaggy Dog, great movie and I still like to watch it.

    I came may be quarter century or more after the 50's but I like this lens, wish I could time travel to this decade, 5*****, and keep doing lenses like these.

    Thanks for a good nostalgic look back. I still really miss Buddy Holly! Alaska became the 49th State that year and I was in the 3rd grade. It's interesting how you remember some years vividly.

    Nice lens. (1959 was a very nice year...I was born that year...shouldn't advertise that I guess) I'm one of those people that complains about the size of truck and SUVs on the roads in the US but then I see cars from the 30's 40's and 50's and so on and realize nothing has changed. (the joke is on me!)

    Oh Barb! This is awesome! For once, I get to say that I'm a bit too young (he-he). I was born in '54. I believe I got the bug for everything within this time period from my parents, as I grew up always loving stuff from the 50's. 'Specially that Caddy!!

    Great lens,1959 I was 13 in Jr high,learned to dance(yuch),got my first go-cart way cool and my first job throwing papers lots of memorys here. Thanks Roger
