Cool Car, Lame Auction
This is another lens for a cool car I found on eBay. This one is a 1964 Jaguar XKE Roadster.
The Jaguar XKE Roadster is the epitome of elegant car design. Anyone would look cool driving one of these cars. The 1964 Jaguar XKE Roadster is a good year, in my opinion, because those horrible bumper regulations had not yet been established in the United States, so they didn't have to put those horrendous black rubber bumpers on the front and back.
This particular auction is awful. The description is about 6 lines long, and that's with a very large font. There are only 4 pictures, although each shows a very important angle. It would have taken about 20 minutes to add a hundred or more so words about this car (details are good when you're trying to sell someone a car for tens of thousands of dollars). How long would it have taken to add a dozen or so more pictures? In less than one hour, this auction could have been made much better and the car would probably sell for $2,000 - $5,000 more. The seller must be pretty rich if his time is worth more than $5,000 an hour.

1968 Jaguar XKE - road test
Had some requests for European cars, so here's a test of a 1968 Jaguar XKE. Note how well this car handles compared to the American cars of the day (see my other road test videos). The XKE was one heck of a nice car.

Mountain Roads
Driving a 1965 E-type Jaguar on mountain roads. The video portions were taken while hanging out the passenger door with an Olympus digital still camera in "video" mode. Enjoy. The music is "XKE!" by The Boss Martians.
