The End of the Muscle Car Era

With an oil embargo about to erupt and cause prices at the pump to go sky high, the 1972 Chevy Nova came at what can be described as the end of the muscle car era. There would be a few more muscle cars produced after this one, but the tendency to make cars with powerful gas-guzzling was already starting to wane.

The Nova has always been one of my favorite muscle cars. It's a sleeper car, without the flare of cars like the Chevelle or Dodge Challenger, but it also fits the mold of the muscle car better than those cars. The particular car is a completely restored 1972 Chevy Nova SS in spring green metallic, a rare factory color. Along with the 350 engine, all the Nova SS details are here, including the louvered hood and blacked out grille. It has a 4 speed manual transmission and many new parts, each carefully chosen to match the factory specs.

This is really a standard car auction with nothing fancy. The car auction template is used, with a gallery of thumbnail pictures that can be enlarged when clicked. It's a simple but effective setup that even a novice eBay user could build using the tools that eBay provides.
