1974 AMC Javelin - A Forgotten Muscle Car
The AMC Javelin was a car designed to compete with other pony cars like the Camaro or Mustang. It could be a considered a muscle car when ordered with the large 401 cubic inch V8 engine, but a 6 cylinder engine was also an option from AMC.
The top performance model of the Javelin was the Javelin SST. Some might also consider the Javelin AMX to be a top performer, but I consider the AMX to be its own model and not a performance upgrade package.
