DIY Ghostbusters Costumes
- Jumpsuit - Mechanic or Painter coveralls, embellish with a Ghostbusters patch on the arm and name tag on breast pocket area.
- Black Boots - tuck in your jumpsuit legs. Army surplus or even rubber boots will do fine.
- Utility Belt - Check the dollar store for lightweight accessories for your utility belt such as flashlights and plastic tools. Army surplus stores have a variety of good belt options.
- Ghostbuster Backpack - get creative with cardboard, packaging materials and silver spraypaint to build your own pack with hose gun extension. The glue gun is your friend. Scavenge back alleys or thrift stores for a vacuum hose.
- Elbow Pads - if you don't have any borrow them from a rollerblader or skater friend, thrift stores have these too.
