What do I love and what does everyone love about 80's fashion?

To me, the 80's was the only era where extremely over the top, out of this world style was the way to go. Back in that day however, these styles couldn't be bought right off a shelf. The look was created by scrounging thrift stores for unique and vintage pieces and throwing together your own ensemble.

There was a 50's revival which had to come from what was found in mom's closet or what was readily available on the thrift store shelves at the time.

Now 80's clothing and 80's style is everywhere you look and it is wonderful! Thank goodness some 'fads' have not returned including the severe acid wash denim and the 'pin and tuck' of the bottom of the jeans :)
