Beach Wedding Dresses

Traditional wedding dresses are very heavy, there is a great deal of fabric used to create on and this fabric is usually quite heavy especially if it's quality satin. They are also usually bulky too with the different layers and embellishments. The wedding dresses you find in bridal shops tend to need either a net underskirt or a hooped underskirt to give the skirt of the dress shape and don't have the same effect if you don't wear one.

They are usually floor length with a train which gives a great effect when walking down the aisle but not so good if you're walking along a pretty sand beach. Not only will a floor length gowns create hazard when you're walking and you could find yourself on a video sharing site if you don't fall, the hem will drag in the sand make it much more difficult to walk. Sand on some beaches could stain your bridal dress yellow which isn't going to be a good look.

Beach weddings are casual affairs and a traditional gown isn't going to fit in, you need something that's sleek and classy which isn't any longer than ankle length, isn't heavy and won't make you sweat under the hot sun.

There's one thing that's important to many brides at the moment and that finding ways to save money on their wedding. A traditional dress can cost from a few hundred to a few thousand, yet a simple beach wedding dress doesn't have to cost over £150 if you don't want it too.
