meet Molly
For the past year I've been trying to make money on the internet without much success and whenever you ask on message boards or even search here on squidoo or on any other site I'm on, you can never get a straight forward answer. They have to give you a bunch of mumbojumbo and think you can decipher it yourself. Well there's no "hidden writer" in me any where and I don't do crafts and I'm not "molly homemaker". So like pretty everything else in my life, it's gonna be trial and error all on my own. If I can share something with anyone, all the better. I'm not really going to hold my breath and wait for anyone to give me "idiot terms" in this matter either cause the ones who have been doing it for quite some time simply don't have the "teaching skills" needed for those of us who aren't the brightest bulbs in the pack. So I think I'll make this lens for my own reference guide.

This has probably got to be one of the smartest appliances you'll ever own. The first George Formen I ever bought was a mid sized one and I loved it. No more greasy foods. But cleaning them was a pain. So viola they've made one with removeable racks, so you not only get rid of the grease in your food easily but cleaning up after it is even easier still.

trying to figure out what everything means
Ok so a "lens" is simply another name for webpage/blog and such. Not that I know what the heck a blog is, I'm assuming it's similar to an online diary only the whole world can read your diary. So I was under the impression that one of these "modules" allowed HTML but I'm not sure which one so I'll just keep looking. Another thing that's confusing is what can you put in them. Do they allow referral links to other sites?? Do they allow you put up your adsense, clickbanks or commisionjunction?? Are you allowed to put up any of your affiliate links?? Not sure yet but I guess if I do it and get banned, I'll know :) Ok so I found the "basic HTML allowed" in the top right hand corner you'll see it. Click on it and it'll tell you how to insert your own link. So I'm gonna have to try it here,www.MollysPlace.com
woooohooo I did it :) Ok so now I'm suppose to add other modules, but what other modules?? And what do I put in them?? Am I allowed to use them for my own affiliates?? I'm about to find out ;)
Well for tonight I'm tired, so I think I'll get some sleep and be back to add more in the morning.
Ok well I'm back to add a little more. When I first started doing this, I thought just to make a little extra money for all the frivolous things but now I'm doing it in order to make money for the dentist. Canada's a great country for medical but that does not include the dentist. Our hospital and doctor visits are covered but the dentist has to come out of your own pocket. So now I find myself in need of making money to pay for it.

I found fefe's lens about getting noticed to be very helpful. And I read bdkz's lens about Tips From A Giant Squid Organzier both these len's have been extremely helpful too.
At least I'm not just banging my head against a wall now. ;)
My newest favorite 2 gods or genius or whatever you want to call them is one thefluffanutta, this guy's a genius!! :) I wouldn't have even known there was a chat room here if it wasn't for following him on twitter. And the second one is Captain Squid These two guys are awesome, follow them, favorite them, read their articles and learn from them!

Well I know what you mean about that mumbo jumbo thing. My thought is if we do like the rest than we are just like them. This happen because we usually ask what others can do for us first before we can do for them. It is like if you give me money I give you some too.
