So are you one of those people that say "I can't even boil Water?" Well you have come to the right place. I'm going to give you some Easy Recipes that you can make in one pot. I am a self taught cook by marriage. That is my first wife couldn't cook, O she made dinner and things but I wouldn't call it cooking. The only thing it was good for was keeping me slim and lean.
I'm also going to give you some links to some other web sites like GumboCity that i have found to be useful. They are simple and don't over whelm you with bells and whistles, just good easy to use recipes.

The crockpot is the lazymans best friend during all seasons not just the holiday. And the lazyman needs multiple crockpots. What could be better than having one with bbq meatballs one with chile and one with,,,well hell what else does the lazy man eat. And do yourself a favor and be lazy and get big crockpots and make big batches of things so that they last all week. Whats more lazyman than cooking once and eating all week. So if your looking to get your lazyman something he will love this christmas get him a crock and he'll never say that "I don't have crock to Pi?? in" again

Chili Recipe
So i just started a life style eating change to help me loose some weight and was surprised to find that chili recipes was a great way to have comfort food and be low in calories. By making a few subs in the ingredients chili recipes become high in fiber, protein and low in fat and carbs. The addition to hot chiles also makes it a appetite suppressant. Who knew.

Crock Pot Chili
For the big game
3 pounds Lean ground beef
3 tablespoons Brown sugar
1 teaspoon Thyme
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Cumin seed
1 teaspoon Garlic powder
2 Bay leaves
1 teaspoon Cilantro
1/4 teaspoon Oregano (Mexican preferred Italian O.K.)
1 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons Paprika
46 ounces V-8 juice
1 cup Onions; chopped
16 ounces Peeled tomatoes (Mexican Style for extra kick)
4 cans Pinto or kidney beans (if you like beans in your Chili)
Just Brown beef and drain. Then throw all ingredients in the cooker. Cook for 5-10 hours on medium high.

Crockpot Lemone Chicken
Chicken does the body good. This is an inexpensive and tasty meal that you will make again.
1/4 cup flour
1 1/4 teaspoon salt
4 pounds chicken pieces
3 tablespoons vegetable oil 6 ounces lemonade frozen concentrate, thawed
4 tablespoons brown sugar
4 tablespoons ketchup
4 tablespoons water
Mix the salt and flour and rub the chicken thoroughly. Brown chicken pieces in oil and drain. Mix the brown sugar,ketchup, lemonade and vinegar. Put the chicken and the lemonade in the slow cooker. Cook on high 3 to 4 hours. Best sereved over cooked rice.

Pot Roast

What is better than pot roast, and with a crock pot you just cant go wrong.
INGREDIENTS:
1 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves
1-1/2 lb. boneless beef top round, cut into 6 pieces
1 Tbsp. olive oil
4 potatoes, peeled, cut into chunks
16 oz. pkg. baby carrots
14 oz. can ready to serve beef broth
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
PREPARATION:
Combine flour, salt, pepper, and thyme in small bowl and coat beef with this mixture. Cook beef pieces in olive oil in a nonstick skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side to brown. Set aside.
Combine potatoes, carrots and onion in 3-4 quart slow cooker.
Place meat on vegetables. Pour beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over meat. Cover crockpot and cook on low for 8-10 hours until beef is tender.
Remove meat and vegetables from crockpot and place on serving platter. Cover with foil to keep warm and place in slow oven. Combine rest of broth and the cornstarch in a small bowl and mix well with wire whisk. Add to liquid in crockpot, turn to high and cook for 10-15 minutes until gravy is thickened. Serve with beef and vegetables. 6 servings
