Question: Why does the 2008 Cobalt get better mpg than the 2008 Aveo?
Would it make too much sense to put the bigger cobalt motor in an aveo if it fits? A lighter car like the aveo would get even better mpg.

Who would install cruise control for 2008 Chevy Aveo in Bellevue Wa 98005? I have an Audiovox CCS-100 cruise control. An expert reccomends not to have Chevy dealer install.
Answer: You could check with the service dept for your local best buy or circit city store.They install cruise controls and would give you a fair price for installation.They have trained people that do this type of work every day. Best of luck.

I need to know where my IAT sensor on my 2008 Aveo is...I'm trying to put a performance chip in it and I can't find it. Thanks...
Answer: Try looking up the part for your make year model on http://www.autozone.com and check "component location"
By the way: Your dealer may have a big problem with the performance chip when you try to make a warranty claim.
Question: How to install oil pressure gauge on a 2008 chevy aveo?
i need to know where to run the oil line on the engine. cant find any pics. also, there a aftermarket volt gauge i need to hook up to. not sure how that hooks up. any info will help. thanks.
Answer: I'm not up to date on the new ones, but the std places for the oil pressure sender in on boss above/around oil filter, or on rear top of engine behind intake.
Look for a goldish colors bell shaped deal. That will be the sender for warning light. Un screw that and put your oil line in place of it.
The volt meter just needs 2 wires, a ground (black wire) to a good chassis ground (metal)
The red wire to a 12 volts hot when switch is turned on spot. Placing wire under the radio fuse will give you that
Question: What are the biggest set of rims that you can put on a 2008 Chevy Aveo without changing perfomance on it.?
Right now their like 14's lol. Little donuts, but i heard depending on the size of the rims it can change how your car drives, handles etc.
Answer: Pretty much stock. Bigger wheels can rub. They can be heavier and will have a larger rotating mass. That means it takes more power to go (your car is already lacking) and longer to stop.
The reduced side wall means more of the road impacts are going into your car and it will eventually tear up your car.

i need to buy a some new fenders but i cant find any 08 fenders.. would 07 fenders fit??

Answer: Your aveo came from the factory with goodwrench 5-30 motor oil.This is a good oil and will do as well as any other oil you use.You can buy the goodwrench oil at any GM dealers parts dept.Best of luck.
