Answer: well the unit can be override ..the wire is connected to your handbrake..if you can locate the wire connect a switch there to turn it off and on when needed..

They look the same but I cant seem to find the differences.

Answer: There is basically no difference. The only changes at all are two or three new paint colors and the addition of std. side curtain air bags.

Answer: To get a good answer you will need to call your local chevy dealers parts dept.They will be able to find out if these seats will interchange.The seats ive seen in the third row area have different brackets between the two different seat styles .Best of luck.

Question: Does anyone know what the whining noise in the front end of my 2008 Suburban could be?
Almost every time I drive my NEW 2008 Suburban, I hear a whining noise in the driver's side of the front end - it is high pitched and I hear it especially when I'm accelerating. I took it to the dealership, took some numbers down off the car and said they'd look into it and get back to me. As you can imagine, that has not happened. One technician there alluded that it was a normal sound. It drives me crazy and I know it is not normal. Any help would be most appreciated.

Answer: Did they take it for a road test with you along? You need to get them to hear the problem. Don't give up until it is resolved. For what a new Suburban costs....It better be perfect. If the dealer keeps gaffing you off saying it's normal, contact GM customer service. They are trying to rebuild their customer base and don't want unsatisfied customers.

Question: Will 285 65 20 fit on a 2008 suburban with out a lift kit?

Answer: That tire would be a couple inches taller (depending on factory tire size you have) and it WILL be slightly wider. Expect the tires to rub during hard turning, more-so on a 2wd.
