Sporting Events Safety and 2009 Super Bowl Party

Ranked #56,314 in Sports & Recreation, #1,253,303 overall

I'm no Leigh Steinberg, but I'm a huge sports fan. My ultimate experience is going to live sporting events to see your favorite teams compete. Or you could be like my friend Morgan who doesn't even care who the teams are, what's important to him is to experience the events live and in person -- up close and personal encounter. Watching live is fun with friends but it can be a family event as well. However, attending to sporting events with wife and kids, like the 2009 Super Bowl, can be very traumatic if you don't take safety precautions.

Here's a major tip to be safe: "Open your eyes."

Some sports are known for their rowdy fans, and Super Bowl do have an enormous share of that. Those that go to soccer sporting events in Europe are aware that fights and riots can break out. It is wise to have your kids and wife seat not in the middle of everything while fierce rivalry is going on. If riot is starting to build up from where you are, move your kids and wife quickly to safety.

Another incident that can cause problem with going to some sporting events is that the sun can be brutally hot. In fact, even the most highly conditioned athletes need to take special precautions when exercising in hot weather. If you are an avid fan of football like me and also are very concern about your favorite athletes you definitely know Leigh Steinberg, who has championed the cause of player safety, his advocates promotes rule, equipment and diagnostic changes to better protect players.

If you are not careful, the heat of the sun can lead to some big problems. You need to hydrate well even before thirst kicks in. Just make sure that you have enough money to buy water that everyone can drink when they need it. Generally, sitting in the sun means drinking more than normal. Bear in mind that you are going to have to buy this water at sporting events, and the price can be higher than usual.

Heat stroke is the most dangerous of the heat-related illnesses. And attending sporting events can lead you to this. This is a big problem with children, so keep an eye on them. They should be wearing hats, comfy clothes and a lot of sunscreen. When one of the members of the family appears feeling a bit lethargic, get them out of the sun and give them more water.

If you are planning to attend the Super Bowl 2009, you must keep these safety tips in mind. This will help you get through the day and most especially have the energy to also attend or even host your own 2009 super bowl party. This party is probably the least fussy, most unpretentious party you can host all year. So, there is actually no point in holding anything back! Go all out and serve everyone's favorite high fat, finger-licking snack foods -- This is actually the tip I got from watching Leigh Steinberg super bowl party last year.

My team...

Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers have an explosive offense and one of the top defenses in the league. Have proven themselves to be a quality playoff team the last few seasons.

DUEL!

Rooting for Pittsburg Steelers!

The 2008 NFL football season will conclude with the 2009 Super Bowl on February 1, 2009 in Tampa Bay, Florida. What team do you think has great chances of winning it all this season?
