Roger Federer has Beaten Andy Roddick in The 2009 Wimbledon Grand Slam Tennis

Roger Federer beat Tommy Haas 7-6, 7-5, 6-3 in two hours. Tommy Haas played with Federer for the first two sets and then Federer finished him off in fashion. There are very few memorable moments about this match.

Andy Roddick beat Andy Murray 6-4, 4-6, 7-6, 7-6 in the Wimbledon semi-finals. People were so confident that Andy Murray would win the semi-finals, me included. What an incredible match. There were tie breakers in the last two sets. Apparently Wimbledon tickets for the finals were going for 20,000 pounds. I am sure that there are many Brits who will be left in a great deal of financial pain after dishing out that sort of money.

Tommy Haas (Germany) Ranked #41 against Roger Federer (Swiss) Ranked #2. The other semifinal has the two Andys - Andy Murray (UK) Ranked #3 against Andy Roddick (USA) Ranked #6.
The Andy Murray vs Andy Roddick match looks like the match to watch. Andy Roddick took 5 sets to beat L Hewitt - 6-3, 6-7, 7-6, 4-6, 6-4. It took Roddick almost 4 hours to play the match, but it was very entertaining, It is unfortunate that NBC and ESPN screwed up some where, because we missed the first two sets. Andy Murray cruised through his match with J Ferrero 7-5, 6-3, 6-2. Hopefully, Andy Roddick (27 years of age) will be fully recuperated when he plays Andy Murray (22 years of age).

The Tommy Haas vs Roger Federer looks to be a bit of dud. God where is Nadal. Tommy Hass beat Novak Djokovic - 7-5, 7-6, 4-6, 6-3. How this happened I do not know. I know that Djokovic is having a rough season, but I was really hoping for a Djokovic vs Federer semi-final. Roger Federer dispensed with the hard servng Croat Ivo Karlovic 6-3, 7-5, 7-6,

Tommy Haas played Roger Federer in the French Open and nearly finished off Federer, I am sure that won't happen again.

My prediction all along has been a Roger Federer vs Andy Murray final with Roger Federer prevailing and taking home his 15th Grand Slam trophy.

He was hoping to win his 6th Wimbledon, but Nadal and Murray will have other plans. These three will be facing each other in the finals in several years to come. Andrew Stephen "Andy" Roddick (born August 30, 1982) in the USA. He is the highest ranked American tennis player. At one point in is career he was ranked #1 in November 2003. He has won the US Open in 2003. He has played lost the 2004 and 2005 Wimbledons against, who else, but Roger Federer. He has a heavy serve but has a rough time playing against more agile players that can return his serves and continue to volley.

Andy Roddick did well in the first round as he beat Jeremy Chardy6-3 7-6 4-6 6-3 with 21 Aces. It looks like Andy Roddick's Serve is doing well. .

Andrew "Andy" Murray (born 15 May 1987) in Glasglow but lives in London England. Andy Murray has good luck against Federer in 2009 - Andy has beaten Roger Federer in the semi-finals of the Qatar ExxonMobil Open and the semi-finals of the BNP Paribas Open. Andy Murray has beaten Rafael Nadal in the finals of the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament Andy Murray could be the one to take the Wimbledon this year. He was an excellent opponent against Roger Federer in the US Open last year.
He is only 22 years old, and has as good a chance against Nadal or Federer.
His first round match at Wimbledon 2009 against Robert Kendrick was a little too close for comfort for many of the British crowd, but Murray prevailed - 7-5 6-7 6-3 6-4

Novak Djokovic - was born on May 22, 1987 in Belgrade, Serbia. Djokovic has beaten the top three. He has won the Australian Grand Slam 2008. He is ready to win the big one? He seems to have certain health problems, he has pulled himself out of three Grand Slam Tournaments for health reasons as well as prolonging many other major matches because of his health, ranging from heat exhaustion, hip problems, dehydration, etc He is a very good spoiler for the other major competitors in any Tounament. If he can overcome his "health problems" he could win some more tennis matches.

Rafael Nadal Parera was born June 3, 1986, in Manaco, Spain. Nadal has been ranked number 1 since December 2008. He has had much better luck against Federer in the French Open, which Nadal has won from 2005 to 2008. He has beaten Federer at the French Open in 2006, 2007 and 2008.
Rafael Nadal lost to Federer at Wimbledon in 2006 and 2007, before he won the 2008 Wimbledon.
At the 2009 Wimbledon Grand Slam, we will have to see how his knees hold up.
