4-Wheel ABS with EBD. ABS stands for Anit-lock Braking System, a standard safety feature on all new Suzuki cars. ABS gives us the Ability to Brake and Steer during panic braking by preventing the brakes from locking up. This is accomplished when the computer pulsates the brakes.
2.0 liter DOHC 16-valve Engine with Zero Maintenance Timing Chain. The self-lubricating, self-adjusting timing chain lowers ownership costs and increases reliablity. Timing belts are rubber and have a life span of about 50,000 to 80,000 miles. They will usually cost $400 to $800 to replace (depending on the car). If they break, they can cause substantial engine damage and thousands of dollars in repair cost. Timing chains are similar to the chain on a bicycle...they require very little maintenance.
Increased Visability. Suzuki utilizes over-sized vent windows, projector beam headlights, daytime running lights, over-sized power, break-away mirrors, and available foglamps to increase visability in all driving conditions.
Class Leading Safety Technology. Suzuki SX4 finished in the Top of it's Class for Safety with Advanced Dual-stage front airbags, driver and passenger Front-side Impact airbags, and front and rear Side-curtain airbags, Side-impact Door Beams, ABS, and EBD.
Extra Convenience. Standard Rear Defrost, Integrated AM/FM antenna, Keyless Entry, Remote Trunk and Fuel Release.
<b>Class Leading Cargo.</b> Huge wide trunk opening accomodates the over-sized trunk. 15.5 cu/ft is comparable to much larger sedans. Folding rear seats also help provide additional cargo space.
