2011 Fall Fashion, Clothing, and Wardrobe Trends

Now that we know just why so many women adore the fall season, it's time to go shopping to find the latest looks. FYI, wait a few months before shopping at the mall. If you're not a fan of shopping online ( which usually get fall fashion trends sooner than stores) make sure you wait a few months before doing your fall shopping. Many stores, outlets and malls don't carry the latest fall styles until the middle of Sept and October, but this works out perfectly since you can still plan your wardrobe for the season. Plus clean out your closet of old styles or looks that are worn out.

You may have already noticed a few of this years fall trends if you pay attention to the media, this season we're seeing a bit of 70's 90's and even peaks of the 80's era as well. Every season this is one main color that grabs designers eyes, and this year that color is red which can be found in the form of bright red hues, rustic reds, and orangey- reds. You can pick this color up in everything from accessories, outerwear, dresses, and even pants.

Other trends that we're seeing this fall include the look of polka dots ( which we haven't seen in while) color-blocking, bright hues, lace, tuxedo or menswear inspired, tweed, maxi length dresses, over-sized blouses, thigh high slits, plaid, fur, sheer fabrics, and the look of stripes. Which is one of the biggest trends for this season.

Stripes are one of the hottest for this fall season, it can be seen in everything from blazers, to accessories, shirts, dresses, and even handbags. It's also a trend that celebrities can't get enough of, so if you buy one item this fall make sure it has stripes on it.
