It's that time of year again when then leaves are turning, the air is getting a bit colder and the holidays are upon us.
It's also a great time to craft some Fall lenses. So we've created a Fall Harvest Fest Quest (try saying that 3 times fast) for you to share your newly created Autumn lenses.
There are 3 categories to build in and if your lens is chosen for our Fall Fest MonsterBoard you'll be awarded 200 points and the "Thanksgiving Dude" trophy!

The Fall Harvest Fest Topics
Craft a lens in ONE of these topics
- 1Fall Crafts & Decorations - Think Thanksgiving crafts, Indian Corn, pumpkins, corn husks, Autumn leaves, cozy candles, copper pots, wrought iron, carved wood, beautiful burnt orange beads and dried Fall wildflowers.
- 2Fall Food & Recipes - Think pumpkin soup, raisin bread, apple pie, green bean casserole, cranberries, cider, cheesecake, custard, chili, mac & cheese, hot chocolate, mashed potatoes, comfort foods and of course...turkey!
- 3Fall Festivals & Traditions - Think harvest fests, hay rides, ghost walks, vegetables stands, country drive, family game night, afternoon tea, Sunday football, moonlit strolls, covered bridges and Thanksgiving dinner.
Fall Harvest Fest Rules & Rewards
- 1Craft a NEW lens in one (or all three) of these topics: Fall Crafts & Decorations, Fall Food & Recipes or Fall Festivals & Traditions, in order to complete the quest.
- 2The best lenses in each topic will appear on a special Fall Harvest Fest MonsterBoard during the week of November 14th. You can enter up to 3 lenses in the quest. Just be sure to complete all of your lenses BEFORE you complete the quest.
- 3Lensmasters who get picked for the MonsterBoard will also receive 200 points and the Thanksgiving Dude trophy! Submit your lens here on your Dashboard before November 12, 2011 to collect 200 SquidPoints.

- I am upside down and it is late spring here with temps in the high 20's already, It is hard to think of an approaching winter in this environment. Perhaps I will do a lens next autumn to submit when your fall comes around again, hugs

- Too bad there are not actual topics listed in the categories for the Fall Harvest Quest. I have not found those topics with in the categories; there is "Thanksgiving" and "Halloween", but so far, no "Fall". What about a lens theme? Hmmm. I am reviewing some of my older lenses and adding keywords about "fall" and "autumn". In the meantime, must hurry up and create, create, create.
