An extremely large sunspot group has been forming on the surface of our sun, suggesting that our sun may soon start spue out some very powerful solar storms. The sunspot group is more than 60,000 miles across. This could spell
trouble for us with CME's over the next year or so.

Researchers have suggested that a dread of evil spirits which haunted some forsaken parts might, in addition to a number of environmental disasters, start to explain why many of the areas of the Mayan civilization were less resilient than other areas when their world collapsed.

I guess you should all know on average a myan died at 15 and would more likly get sacraficed at 4 than make it to 5 so your looking at a calander written by probally a 12 year old prophesies written by 13 year old and I am guessing they could not write either your looking at something from like a million years ago written by kids and if the calander was or forever you dont think that would be forever for them and have you noted that 2012 in the myan calander is !TRILLION MILLION YEARS FROM NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now other cultures that are much like the myans think that aliens made us if true wont the aliens save us! common the woulds not gonna end its just a theory made by some attention craving loser they said the same thing about 1984 1994 128 days ago 354 days ago 12 years and 68 days ago and most people ae speaking of reliond 3557 not 2012 its basic people its not gonna happen!!!

I feel that over the upcoming year you will find these things occurring with an increase in frequency.

With the trouble that the country of Iran is causing, I would keep my eye on Jerusalem and all of the events that are about to occur there.

Recently the government performed a test of the national (Emergency Alert System) EAS. (Of course, it failed.) It makes you wonder if they did this test in anticipation of something big happening in the future (2012?).

Every major religion around the Earth, including lesser religions that you've most likely never even heard of, spiritualists (non-religious), and even the majority of agnostics and athiests tend to believe that in December 2012, something big is going to occur. ( 2012 end of the world ?)

"Betelgeuse" the star has been losing its mass, and should likely turn into a supernova soon. But it's important that 'soon', however, can mean in astronomical time: It's as likely to happen in a million years as it would tomorrow.

Well now, apparently the May 21, 2011 Rapture was nothing but a big dissapointment. (which shouldn't come as a surprise, seeing it was based on doctrine that was non-biblical) Now let's get back to work on this whole 2012 thing.

Is the 2012-2013 Solar Max (24) going to only be half the size of Solar Cycle 23? NASA seems to think so, and that should be good news.

There are some astronomers that believe in the existence of a brown dwarf star that exists in our solar system with a planetary orbit that comes near to the Earth every 3600 years. This means that in 2012 it should come close to Earth.

About a half a year before Dec 21, 2012 a solar eclipse will occur. And a short time after this, the planet Venus will position itself directly in line between the Earth and the Sun. (what effect might this have?)

By 2012 it is very possible that the Federal Reserve system could actually be on their way to taking possession of most of our debt and will be able to have complete control over our nation.

Indicators in the world financial markets not only predicted the 9-11 attacks but they also indicated a drop in the Asian markets before the Asian tsunami.

One of the largest sun spot areas that NASA is tracking, just had a major eruption. Fortunately it was not toward the earth.
