    A gigantic sunspot group has formed on the surface of the sun, a possible sign that it may soon start spouting out some significant storms. It measures more than 100,000 kilometers across. This could possibly mean trouble over the upcoming year or so with CME's.

    With the trouble that the country of Iran is causing, I would keep my eye on Jerusalem and all of the events that are about to occur there.

    Just recently our government ran a test of the nations EAS (Emergency Alert System). (It failed, ... what a shock.) You have to wonder if their reason for doing this is an anticipation of something big occurring in the near future.

    Ay ay ay... there are several events happening at the same time - solar cycle, galactic alignment, Earth's wobble, Mercury AND Venus transit, polar shift, Nibiru flyby - geological records show that we went 90% extinct on several of these events on their own - now we get to go to go through ALL of them next year - just the natural cycle of things - when they said Jesus was the ONLY way to salvation - He meant it! (no more shuttle either) Thank Father for FEMA making millions of steel coffins everywhere for the bodies...

    i personally think something big is going to happen b4 2012....could it be that the world focus on 2012 is to divert ppl's attention ...they think they still have a little time to get things in order....i don't know but i do know that it is not the time to be sleeping!! great lens :)

    Every major religion from around the Earth, and even lesser religions that you've probably never even heard of, spiritualists (non-religion based), and even most agnostics and athiests are in agreement that in December 2012, something big will most likely happen. (are the 2012 prophecies true?)

    Betelgeuse the star is losing mass, and it will probably go supernova soon. However, it should be noted that on an astronomical time scale soon can mean that it's as likely to occur a million years from now as it could tomorrow.

    It seems now as though the Rapture of May 21, 2011 was just a huge dud. I knew that it would be because it was based on incorrect non-biblical doctrine) Lets hope 2012 is more exciting.

    Will the Solar Max (24) of 2012-2013 be only half the size of Solar Cycle 23? Well, NASA thinks it will, and that should be very good news.

    It is now believed by some astronomers that a brown dwarf star exists inside our solar system, and that it has an orbit that comes close to the Earth about every 3600 years. This means it will come close in 2012.

    Nibiru - 54 cultures have a name for it. Sumerians were the first to speak of it 6000 years ago in cuneiform tablets (stone) 10 Commandments - stone Comes around every 3600 years and it may/may not collide (we were formed by a collision according to the Sumerians) BUT it causes havoc with its magnetic pull on our poles causing weather changes, polar shifts, and with 5 moons trailing along, displacing comets as it passes the Oort Cloud.... This time we are in harm's way... just mathematics of the Universe... and with all the other events happening.... we are in end times...

    Roughly 6 months before Dec 21, 2012 there is going to be a solar eclipse. And very shortly after that eclipse, Venus will become directly in line between the Sun and the Earth. (could this be significant?)

    On June 6 2012 is the Venus transit - no problem. The problem is that Mercury will be doing it too. BIG HUGE problem. Every time they both get together disaster strikes. AND that is when the Mayans say "they will observe the return of the gods and the end of the "earth/age" (working on finding out which) just the normal cycle of things....

    By the year 2012 there is the very real possibility that the Federal Reserve banks will actually be on the way to owning the majority of our debt and will be able to have control over the country.

    One of the most highly active areas of sun spots that astronomers are tracking, recently had a major blast. Luckily it did not hit the earth.
