- Sacred Heart Shelter
- Since 1979 Sacred Heart Shelter (SHS) has provided safe, home-like shelter to homeless families and women. The shelter is located in the Lower Queen Anne area of Seattle and houses six single women and six families. A family can be a one or two parent family. We do accept single fathers with children.
Single women who stay at SHS share a dormitory-style room, and each family who comes to the shelter receives their own room. The remainder of the house is communal living space. This includes three bathrooms, laundry facilities upstairs and a lounge. Downstairs we have a Quiet Room, dining room and kitchen. - The Aloha Inn in Seattle, Washington

- LIHI's Supportive Services Department is a program which helps homeless, formerly homeless and low-income residents living in LIHI housing. Supportive Services provides residents with the skills and confidence they need to find jobs, sustain their independence and to make lasting changes in their lives.
LIHI believes in serving the whole family rather than just the head of household or parents. We believe that if even one person in a family is struggling with difficult issues and needs help it will affect the entire family. We offer an extensive program of services to both children and parents to assist in making the family more healthy and whole. - Jubilee Women's Center: Seattle Transitional Housing
- A diverse population of women call Jubilee home, ranging in age from 21 to 62, representing a wide variety of cultures, races, religions, nationalities and backgrounds. The average Jubilee woman is 44 years old, and may come to Jubilee physically or emotionally exhausted from living on the streets or from weeks spent in emergency shelters. While most Jubilee residents work, they have low-paying or temporary jobs. In the words of a former Jubilee resident, "Our common denominator is poverty."

The Women's Housing, Equality and Enhancement League (WHEEL) is a non-profit and non-hierarchical group of homeless and formerly homeless women working on ending homelessness for women. WHEEL is all about empowerment and action.
WHEEL is the women-only, women-concerned sister organization to SHARE (Seattle Housing and Resource Effort). Both WHEEL and SHARE provide self-managed shelters-including Tent Cities. - DASH

DASH is a private non-profit corporation, founded in 1991 by the Bellevue Downtown Association to preserve affordable housing in Bellevue, Washington and the surrounding Eastside communities. DASH has successfully created, preserved or renovated more than 1000 units of affordable housing for residents of King County. - The Seattle Community Law Center's mission is to provide accessible legal advocacy to people with physical and mental disabilities so that they may obtain the resources necessary to gain financial and medical stability.

- In general, we help low-income King County residents or Washington State residents with legal issues in King County with civil (non-criminal) problems.

Develop your own safety plan. Get support & involve your personal support network in your safety plan. Get a using buddy or another buddy who cares about you. You are NOT alone out there.

- The Family Law Facilitator Program at King County Superior Court provides information and referrals to family law litigants who are not represented by attorneys. Litigants may meet with a facilitator on a walk-in basis or by pre-scheduled appointment (for document review or if an interpreter is required). The program operates in the King County Courthouse in Seattle and the Maleng Regional Justice Center in Kent.

Operates legal clinics where free 30-minute legal consultations are available for individuals who are not already represented by an attorney. These clinics focus on more complex family law issues including any case involving children or debt/asset division between parties. If needed, a client may be referred to further legal services. The Clinic can: 1) Determine if the client has a legal problem. 2) Explain legal rights and responsibilities to the client. 3) Suggest steps that might be taken to solve the problem, including self-help strategies. 4) Refer the clients needing specialized legal help to law-related agencies. CLINIC ATTORNEYS DO NOT represent a client in court or prepare court papers.
