24 Hour Watches

24 hour dial watches are very desirable watches to have. Unfortunately, finding 24 hour watches for sale, is not always an easy task. Though the 24 hour watch fully depicts the Military Time Watch, it is not a very common military time timepiece, at stores or online.

Seeing as it relates to military time, maybe true military 24 hour watches are not that common due to the fact that they make sense. Instead of having the standard twelve markers on the dial, a true 24 hour watch has twenty-four markers on the watch face.

The most popular of the 24 hr watches is the Glycine Airman watch.

As you can see, the Airman has a full set of markers and numbers going around the dial showing all twenty-four hours of the day.

Though it is the best known 24HR watch, there are other 24 hour watches for sale online and you can find some great ones here.

Unlike most military dial watches (as seen to the right) that only show the standard twelve markers and a 24 hr sub dial on the watch face, A true 24 hour watch has all of the hours of the day shown on the dial.

Isn't it kind of odd how we recognize that there are 24 hours in a day, yet most watches have a 12 hour dial? One would think that for a watch or clock to more accurately represent the hours in a day, the full 24hr watch would be the norm. That is what a 24 hour watch dial/face does. It properly represents all twenty-four hours of the day.

Being a stickler for accuracy and not one to conform to the norm, I rather enjoy sporting my true military/aviation 24hr time piece. I am sure that you will too...

Lum-Tec Combat 24 HR Dial Watches

Lum-Tec makes a very nice 24 HR dial watch and they are a lot less expensive than the Glycine Airman.

Most of the watches Lum-Tec offer are in the four to eight hundred dollar range. And for a Swiss made watch with all the features the Lum-Tec has, that isn't bad.

Invicta 24 Hour Watches

Invicta has it's own variation of the 24 hour watch dial. They base it on the Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) and it can be found under several of the Invicta collections. Though it is a bit of a stretch to call these watches true 24 hour watches, they do look and function very well. And they do show the hours in a twenty-four hour format.

Russian 24 HR Watches

If that is a bit too much for you to cough up at this time, you may wish to take a look at these 24 hour Russian watches that can be found on eBay. I would not get them very wet, but for fifty bucks, what do you expect?
