my SBC powered 240Z roadster project

Started building this car back in the 90s when I decided I wanted a roadster.
so, I took some time and built a subframe under my $300 1971 Datsun Zcar and then one weekend chopped the top off.
Drove it like that for the better part of a year, til the stock engine tossed a rod thru the block, it'd had a death rattle for a long time, so this was not unexpected.

and I had a good steel crank small block laying around, so it got a little freshening up and in it went, then life got in the way.

Nov. 2010 - this project is For Sale, the car and all the parts in the pile, asking $2000.
it is a roller, but not a runner. located in Northern California, license is currently on Non0p

June 2011 - this project is still tarped under the messanine in the shop, and I'm scheming on perhaps pulling the small block out and putting it into a RatRod consisting of a set of step down frame rails I built from 2x4x.188 tubing and a pile of old rusty teens, 20s and 30s autobody parts I have accumulated. I have a pile of leftovers from back in my streetstock and sprint car days too, Should be able to assemble a Way Kool Kustom RatRod from all the junk that is just taking up space around here now.
I dunno, hard to say, so many projects, so little energy anymore.
